Billing rates and cost estimates

I can't typically provide a budget estimate until we have a conversation and I get some sense of scope of work. But my clients are repeat clients because rates are reasonable and invoices are clear. I work on an hourly, retainer or project basis depending on the project. My base rate is $200 per hour, which I will only discount in exceptional circumstances. For one-off consultations and crisis work, the rate is typically $300. Sample rates for popular services are provided below. 

media training

A half-day media training session, including formal presentation and recorded mock interviews for up to four participants, will typically cost $3,500. 
 

communications plan

A communications plan, including goal and objectives, audiences, strategic considerations, messaging and tactics will usually come in around $5,000 to $7,000 depending on the complexity. 

Core story

A core story is a memorable narrative about an organization that can be a very powerful communications tool and piece of your brand identity. When starting from scratch, the price point is typically around $8,000.
